Year 7 Literacy and Numeracy Catch-Up Premium

The literacy and numeracy catch-up premium gives schools additional funding to support those year 7 pupils who did not achieve at least level 4 in reading or maths at the end of key stage 2 (KS2).

 

Schools receive £500 for each pupil in year 7 who did not achieve at least level 4 in reading or maths at the end of KS2.

 

Crayford Academy received £14,258 in 2017-2018, and is being used for small group targeted intervention sessions delivered by specialist English and Maths teachers. These groups run for an Askean term each and focus on specific key areas of weakness highlighted by individual pupil question level analysis’ of their Key Stage 2 SATs examinations.
