Groupings
In Year 7 you will be
taught in tutor groups. At the end of the year you will be
put into sets according to your Year 7 examination results
and the end of module tests. The sets are revised annually.
Assessment
At the end of each
unit there is a test. All test results are recorded and used
to help with target setting and monitoring. There is a
College examination at the end of Year 7 and Year 8. In the
May of Year 9 all students are entered for SATs exams, the
level of entry determined by your class set and your module
test results. Groups 1 - 3 are expected to sit the higher
level papers. |
