Geography is an important part of your new extended curriculum. In Geography you will study countries’ themes and carry out your own research to produce individual and group projects.

Groupings
Throughout Key Stage 3 you will be taught in your Tutor Groups. In Year 7 you will have one and a half lessons a week, in Year 8 you will have two lessons and in Year 9 one lesson.

Assessment
You will be assessed through the year by tests, projects and presentations as well as in an examination at the end of the year. The results are recorded and this will allow you to see exactly which level you are working at. At the end of Year 9 you will be given a final level on your report as well as grades and a comment.
