| A very warm welcome to Haberdashers' Aske's Federation which came into being in September 2005. The Federation consists of 2 sister academies, Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College, and Haberdashers' Aske's Knights Academy. Both are now Haberdasher schools with a single Vision and Ethos. We have one overarching Governing Body and, as Chief Executive, I have overall responsibility for the Federation, and report to the Chairman of Governors, Mr Glover. We are committed to valuing tradition as well as progress and promoting excellence in every area of school life, and to ensuring every student in our care fulfils their potential. We have a strong ethos based on "mutual respect", "responsible behaviour" and a strict uniform policy. The Federation is firmly rooted in our local community and there are strong partnerships with primary schools and colleges. We have a thriving extra curricular programme and each school has its specialism, Music at Hatcham and Sport at Knights. These help to raise standards across the curriculum and provide unrivalled opportunities for our students. We are proud to be both part of the Academy programme and the Haberdasher family of schools. Our Principal Sponsors, the Worshipful Company of Haberdashers, take a keen interest in the welfare and progress of our students and are extremely generous with their support and expertise. We have a strong alumni association and enjoy learning of the achievements and successes of former students. Once an Askean, always an Askean. We enjoy welcoming visitors to the academies.
