- The Federation Registrar will advise parents in the Assessment invitation letter which school your child will be required to attend the Assessment.
Applicants will only be required to take one NFER Assessment and the score achieved will stand for both schools. However, your child maybe in a different band for each school as the band widths is dependant on the applicants applying to each school.

- PLEASE NOTE that Music is one of Aske’s great strengths and specialism. The College is committed to the principles of Inclusion in order that all students to benefit from our music specialism, not only students offered a place under this criterion.

Appeals
Under the Education Act parents have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel against a decision not to offer their child a place.
The Appeal arrangements will be in line with the Code of Practice on School Admission Appeals published by the Department for Children, Schools & Families.
The College received 156 appeals for the Year 7 September 2008 intake. No appeals were upheld.
Parent(s) should be aware that the College received 2368 applications for the Year 7 September 2008 intake. Unfortunately, this means that there will be a lot of very disappointed families. We regret this but there are only 208 places available to offer.
