Federation Registrar's talk. I am the Federation Registrar and I imagine that I will be speaking to most of you at sometime throughout this process. After hearing Mr Jones tell you about the kind of education that is offered here at Hatcham College, I imagine that most of you will want to apply for a place for your child. The College is now a 3 -18 Academy and has therefore, changed its admission criteria. Random allocation is no longer part of the distance criterion. If you would like to apply for a place at the College for your child, I urge you to read the prospectus thoroughly especially the Admission Procedure section before completing the Additional information form that can be found at the back of the prospectus. The completed Additional information form must then be sent to the College by Friday, 24 October 2008. The College is part of the Pan London Co-ordinated admissions scheme and therefore, you must name HAHC on your child’s Common Application form. This should have been given to you by your child’s primary school, if you haven’t received a form, please contact your resident borough’s education dept. We are unable to consider applications where the College has not been named on the Common Application Form. If you are applying for both schools in the Haberdashers’ Federation (Hatcham College & Knights Academy) you will need to complete an additional information form for each school and name both schools on the Common Application form. However, your child will only be invited to take one Non Verbal Reasoning test and the result will stand for both schools. If you have any further admission questions that are not answered in the prospectus, please see my Admissions Team in the dining hall. Our Head of Inclusion Ms Marco and her team are available upstairs in Room J22 which is to the left of the Music Dept to answer any Special Educational needs questions that you may have. Now if you would like to leave either by the doors at the back or to my left. Tours guides are available in the playground. Thank you Mrs S Oliver
